Comfrey is the only known plant that cures and removes bunions – deformities of the thumb bone, for which modern medicine has no solution except painful surgery. A bunion is otherwise a deformation of the thumb of the foot. The thumb joint becomes protruding, not only the joint but also the connective elements (tendons) are deformed. There is a deformation of the other fingers as well. A bunion is a knot at the root of the thumb. Only the plant comfrey is able to bring this deformation back to normal.
